Leading to the success of last year That’s How enroll returned in Fall 2021. Once again, Senior, Junior and Sophomore students were counselled on which CS courses to opt for. Which helped students to explore their interests and learn from the experiences of their seniors. Grad App Wars<\/span><\/span><\/h4>

This virtual event was conducted in fall 2021 for LUMS students aimed at providing guidance to Senior students on their post grad applications. LUMS alumni from prestigious grad schools were invited to conduct multiple workshops for both PhD and Masters applications. This helped students to learn from the experiences of their seniors and gain much needed clarity on the whole process. LUMS Edpresso Competition<\/span><\/span><\/h4>

Our members took part in the Edpresso technical writing competition in 2021. The teams were expected to write an Edpresso shot (a 2-5 minute condensed technical article) on the Educative platform answering common CS related questions. LWiC held a virtual 7-week coding bootcamp for high-school girls from January to March 2021. The camp aimed to equip girls with basic programming skills, as well as build their confidence in networking to foster a community of female computer scientists. The bootcamp included weekly online lessons on python programming language that helped students compute solutions to real-world problems.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>

LWiC Student Ambassador applications opened in December 2020, giving a chance to school-going girls from across Pakistan to become a part of a revolutionary and energetic team of young computer scientists.
